Westeel Wide-Corr Commercial Hopper Tanks
 Available in storage capacities up to 50,000 bushels, this grain bin is built from the bottom up with high quality and innovative features.
Full I-Beam structural legs ensure strength and safety in every commercial hopper tank. Cross bracing, manufactured from steel threaded rods, is used between every leg to eliminate twisting and increased the structural rigidity of the base. The unique compression ring assembly rests on the structural legs. A steel sealing strip is continuously welded to the compression ring assembly to assure a water-tight fit. Baked on enamel paint is used on all non-galvanized components for the long lasting good looks and rust protection.
Wide-Corr hopper bottom grain bins feature galvanized hopper plates, which are supported by Westeel's unique compression ring assembly for additional strength. This effectively transfers the bin load from the hopper onto the legs and into the bin foundation. A steel sealing strip is continuously welded to the compression ring assembly to ensure a moisture tight fit. Standard commercial hopper features include caulking for all horizontal seams and a wide 14" discharge outlet. Larger discharges up to 22" are available as options and allow delivery rates of up to 30,000 bu/hour. A 45° hopper cone is provided for all Series 27 to 30 hopper tanks' and a 37° hopper cone, for all Series 33 and 36 hopper tanks.

- Exterior Stiffeners
The Z bar exterior stiffeners are located directly on the legs so that the loads are transferred directly from the legs to the concrete foundation.
- Side-walls
Sidewall sheets are bolted in both the crest and valley, giving a snug overlap of wall sheets.
- Round Access Door
The 24" diameter crawl access door is standard on all hopper tanks.
- Roof
The 30° roof slope provides quick moisture runoff and maximum usable space. Stiffening rings are optional for high snow load areas.
Specially designed applications ensure long lasting use even in the most rigorous applications.
Full I-Beam Leg Support
For added strength and safety, Wide-Corr commercial hopper tanks use full I-Beam construction from the leg support system. Cross-bracing manufactured from steel threaded rods is used between every leg to eliminate twisting and increase the structural rigidity of the base. Extra support is provided by exterior stiffeners, which connect to the legs so that the loads are transferred directly to the concrete foundation. All components in the base structure are pre-punched at the factory for easy assembly.
